FOREIGN LAND
Foreign Land
Foreign Land explores the theme of migration through a range of artworks that offer the perspective of those living in between cultures. The exhibition aims to rediscover the human aspect of migration by exploring why people move across continents and how it shapes them, looking at the intersect between private and national identities.
The exhibition features work by Abul Hisham, Susanne Khalil Yusef, Benjamin Li and Anthony Ngoya. In the public programme the viewpoints encapsulated in the art works on view are merged with scientific research on migration politics. Especially in these times of heated debate, political extremism and a lost sense of human connection, Foreign Land tries to find a way back to empathy, openness and human perspectives.
