As part of the campus wide introduction days at the VU, the VU ART SCIENCE gallery is providing guided tours of our current exhibition ‘NATURAL TECHNOLOGY. Welcome to the Symbiocene’.
The VU ART SCIENCE gallery focuses on the interaction between art and science. Our current exhibition explores the boundaries and collaborations between organisms and technology in an effort to understand how life on Earth can function and survive after the climate crisis. The works on view range from photography to robotic sculpture, from video to sound pieces. Collaborating artist are Jelle Korevaar, Tabita Rezaire, Wanda Tuerlinckx and Christaan Zwanikken.
