Join us for an extended edition of Relaxed Wednesday, part of Realms of Reality at the VU ART SCIENCE Gallery. Led by Vincent Vegt for the Mindful Library, we practise Just Like Me, a compassion meditation, inside Simone Albers’ installation Cycles and Webs. Here, meditation and artwork become one.

Albers turns the linear game of Snakes and Ladders into a circle, a web without a top or a bottom where everything is connected. In this space we sit, breathe and quietly recognise ourselves in one another. The session is longer than usual. Afterwards there is tea and time to sit together.

No experience with meditation is needed. Everyone is welcome.

Vincent Vegt is a Spiritual Care (Geestelijke Verzorging) student at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He works for the Mindful Library, part of NEWConnective, where he guides meditations for VU students.
